Entertaining myself with a bottle of Txakoli when the kids are gone in the best, but that doesn’t ever happen often enough!
I bake whatever pie is fresh, and have a few friends over. Then serve some cocktails to go with: Pimm’s Cups, Dark ‘n’ Stormys and the like.
i pour something new or mix something i’ve never seen before !
I love to entertain with small dinner parties on my patio! I especially love to make punches and serve interesting wines.

I like to do a “do it yourself” Bloody Mary Bar and start the BBQ at 11 AM. Gives people a reason to show up on time and plenty of time to sober up and drive home.

We’ll usually have over one or two good friends or couples for a backyard grill and drinks.

I love to entertain with big summer BBQs with kids running around and adults eating, drinking, laughing, throw in a slip n slide or at least a sprinkler for an all-night party!

Summer entertaining means lighting the grill, chilling some beer, mixing a pitcher of homemade sangria, playing some cornhole, outsmarting the mosquitoes and laughing until the last ice cube has melted and the last brownie is gone.
This is BEAUTIFUL! Cool vintage feel, while somehow feeling modern at the same time. Love it!
