Helloooooo February! Here’s some boozy news bites.
- First, if you’re looking for a distillery tour where you’re not just thinking “when do we get to try the booze?”, then check out the Lost Spirits Distillery here in LA. It’s like Disney got into the booze business.
- Hotels for you beer lovers out there. Bucket list time!
- Getting customers into the bar using a chalkboard. Pretty smart folks, pretty smart.
- Diet wines! Just…don’t. Don’t do it.
- Also, not so sure which of these flavored whiskeys I’d give a try? Pumpkin Spice? Oatmeal??
- I WOULD give this book on Japanese Whisky a read. So pretty.
- And I would totally drink the heck out of these rums.
- A case for drinking wine out of a coffee mug (which I’ve probably done at some point too).
- Wondrich has a whole list of warning signs you should look out for the next time you step into a bar for a drink. Even if they do have a copy of his book behind the bar.
