You’ve purchased your Cocktail Presets by Stir and Strain! Now what? Here’s our handy guide to installing your presets for Lightroom Mobile either on your phone or desktop.
On your phone:
- Download the preset to your phone.
- Open Lightroom Mobile app.
- In the All Photos folder, click on the Picture + icon on the bottom right to import the photo to Lightroom.
- Select “From Camera Roll†when the dialogue box appears.
- Tap on the photo to select, which will then open the photo in editing mode. Click the check mark to accept.
- Reopen the photo and click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner.
- Click “Create Presetâ€.
- Name your preset.
- Select either the user preset or create a new preset group under the preset group dropdown.
- If creating a new preset group, select “create new preset group†and then create a name for it in the next screen. Otherwise move on to the next step.
- Next, under the “Select†dropdown menu, select modified. Our presets remove chromatic aberration. If you do not want to import that, uncheck the box under “Opticsâ€.
- Click on the arrow in the top right.
- Your preset is now saved and ready to use. Find it under the presets folder.
On your desktop:
- Download the file.
- Open Adobe Lightroom CC (NOT classic).
- Click on the + sign in the upper left hand side of the screen.
- Select the dng preset file you downloaded and click “Review for Import”.
- Select what album to add from the dropdown at the top center of the screen.
- Click add photo.
- Then click on the My Photos icon on the left (looks like books on a shelf) and under “Recently Added”>> “Just Nowâ€, your imported photo will appear.
- Click on the edit button on the upper right side to expand the settings, and click on presets button on the very bottom.
- When that expands, click on the three dots next to presets (at the top), and click create preset.

Name your preset.

Select either the user preset or create a new preset group under the preset group dropdown.

If creating a new preset group, elect “Create New Preset Group†and then create a name for it in the next screen. Otherwise continue to the next step.

Next, under the “Select†dropdown menu, select “Modified”. Our presets remove chromatic aberration. If you do not want to import that, uncheck the box under “Opticsâ€.
- Click Save.
- Your preset is now saved and ready to use. Find it under the presets folder.
