Happy April folks! Here’s some boozy news to read:

• Last month was Women’s History Month so we’re squeezing in this article on a few of the pioneering ladies behind the stick.
• To drink like at local at this Wisconsin bar, you need to throw back a shot of Angostura!
• We’ve loved adding vinegar to cocktails for awhile now. Here’s some other ways to add acid to drinks without citrus.
• The UK is doing grocery store rotisserie chicken right (and it involves Prosecco!).
• National Beer Day is April 7th (as we’ve been told by countless people online after we screwed up the date in one of our last posts. Thanks!), so here’s a list of the 25 most important American Craft Beers!
• Ok, ice. Is it fine for a bartender to touch with bare hands or not???
• Well, at least we know where the frozen margarita originated! Whew!
• Hey WhatsApp users, NO ONE IS GETTING FREE BEER.

Happy March! Let’s read some stuff…

• First, this is the only reason I’m going to consider buying an InstaPot (hint: WINE {Thanks for the tip Jayme!}).

• Oh hey, we used Angostura Orange Bitters to make some pickled beets and fennel. You should totally make it this week.

Helloooooo February! Here’s some boozy news bites.

• First, if you’re looking for a distillery tour where you’re not just thinking “when do we get to try the booze?”, then check out the Lost Spirits Distillery here in LA. It’s like Disney got into the booze business.
• Hotels for you beer lovers out there. Bucket list time!
• Getting customers into the bar using a chalkboard. Pretty smart folks, pretty smart.
• Diet wines! Just…don’t. Don’t do it.
• Also, not so sure which of these flavored whiskeys I’d give a try? Pumpkin Spice? Oatmeal??
• I WOULD give this book on Japanese Whisky a read. So pretty.
• And I would totally drink the heck out of these rums.
• A case for drinking wine out of a coffee mug (which I’ve probably done at some point too).
• Wondrich has a whole list of warning signs you should look out for the next time you step into a bar for a drink. Even if they do have a copy of his book behind the bar.
